African-themed day

Year 2 students have been exploring the world of ‘Grace and Her Family’ this half term, and they have shown tremendous creativity in their writing. From poems to narratives, postcards to letters, the children have crafted amazing pieces of work that truly reflect their learning. To celebrate their hard work, the students participated in an immersivethat included learning African dance and song, baking banana bread, and creating stunning safari silhouette art. The children arrived at school dressed in bright colors or animal prints, with some donning full African-inspired attire. It was a fantastic way to end their English topic, and both the children and staff had an incredible day.
