Parents Association

The St Joan of Arc Parents Association (PA) is committed to fund-raising for the school. Each parent who has a pupil in the school is a member and fund-raising is organised by a committee of about 30 parent volunteers. The PA has a major fund-raising goal each year, each goal having been agreed in advance with the Headteacher.  Over the last few years we have raised money that has gone towards improving the Nursery outdoor areas, provided sports equipment for use on the all-weather sports pitch (which was also built with PA money), as well as purchased additional computer equipment for use in the classrooms. We also provide funds for smaller but equally important things which could not be funded from any other source, such as leavers’ gifts.

The PA raises money through regular fund-raising activities such as monthly cake stalls, subscriptions, and raffles. We also organise several fund-raising events throughout the year such as quiz nights, summer fetes and auctions. There are numerous ways you can get involved in supporting the PA and all help and support is hugely appreciated, whether it’s finding a prize for the auction, baking cakes, running a stall or selling raffle tickets – all contributes to our fund-raising activity.
