About

Welcome to St Joan of Arc Catholic Primary School, which is a voluntary aided school in the trusteeship of Westminster Diocese.

We are a two-form entry co-educational school with an intake of 420 pupils from ages 5 –11. We are also very fortunate to have a Nursery that offers full-time education for up to 26 children aged 3-4.
Our school serves the community from three parish churches: St Joan of Arc (Highbury), St Thomas More (Manor House) and Our Lady of Good Counsel (Stoke Newington).
The governors, staff, parents and children all support our mission statement –  ‘The members of the Community of St Joan of Arc School, by respecting each other, learn to grow in the love of Jesus Christ.’

We have a very active governing body that support all areas of school life.
We have a very talented and committed staff, with high expectations, who aim to deliver a diverse curriculum in a stimulating way. We feel very proud that children leave our school at the age of eleven with the skills required to be a model citizen for the future.

Our aim is to work in partnership with parents, keeping you informed about the curriculum on offer and the progress that your child is making. We highly value all the support that parents give the school in the form of helping out in class, supporting with visits out of school and with fundraising events.

We believe that partnership with parents is the key to a successful school life for your child.
